For guests
Getting a ticket, finding it again, and what we ask for.
Getting a ticket
Open the event page and press Get my ticket. Free tickets confirm immediately; paid ones go through the payment page and issue the ticket once the money has actually arrived.
Your ticket lives at Tickets in the top bar, and opens with no signal — which is the state most doors are in.
These steps describe the installable guest web app. It keeps tickets on this browser for offline use. The retained Expo workspace is still an unchanged starter; there is no implemented native sign-in or native ticket wallet.
What we ask, and why
Name and mobile number, so the organiser can reach you about the event you signed up for.
At a trade exhibition you will also be asked which country you are travelling from and whether you are attending for work. That is not marketing. The organiser has to give MATRADE an audited count of how many visitors came, how many from abroad and how many on business — and without it, the exhibitors at that event cannot claim the grant they are entitled to.
Register again later and the answers are already filled in.
From outside Malaysia
Include your country code, like +65 9123 4567. A number typed without one is
read as Malaysian, because there is no way to tell a foreign number from a
mistyped local one.
Workshops
Some events have workshops or breakout rooms listed on the event page. Each is booked separately and issues its own ticket, so you will have one for the event and one for each session. That is what lets staff scan you into the room after you have already come through the main entrance.
Ordinary booking refuses two workshops at the same time. Two simultaneous requests can still race in the migration target; see the workshops guide.
Your data
Account → export gives you everything held about you as one file: your profile, every registration and ticket, points, and the details each organiser can see. No request, no waiting.
